My Bio

Hello! My name is Erica Sibley and I am overjoyed to be starting my teaching career as a 2nd grade teacher here at San Tan Charter. My husband (Scott), daughter (Scarlett, age 2), and I just moved to Arizona at the start of 2021 from California. We are so thrilled to put down our roots here and make Arizona our new home.

My career history may not be in teaching, but I have had the pleasure of working with children throughout my life. I have worked with younger Girl Scouts, coached sports teams, taught drama to children, and volunteered at Boys & Girls Club as a tutor. My calling has always been to teaching and I am so proud that I followed my dream and obtained my teaching credential.

I am passionate about people and love building relationships. I am a bubbly, positive, and energetic person and it is important to me to show my students that I truly care about each and every one of them. I really want to help my students become the best version of themselves.

When I'm not teaching, I love to explore the outdoors with my family. I love trying new restaurants and seeing new places.
